Kauaʻi County will observe Good Friday by closing all offices and facilities on April 3. The Kauaʻi Bus will maintain its daily schedule.

Spring Fun registration opens on March 12 for keiki ages 5 to 12-years old to participate activity-filled programs during spring break this year.

Kauaʻi County offices, including neighborhood centers and recycling stations, will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

In observance of Veterans Day, Kauaʻi will close multiple county facilities on Nov. 11.

The Kapaʻa Swimming Pool will temporarily close starting Sept. 17 due to unforeseen mechanical issues, prompting swimmers to utilize the Waimea Swimming Pool.

All neighborhood centers, Kekaha Landfill and all county transfer stations, among other services also will be closed Jan. 20 for the holiday. See the full list and what still will be running now.

In observance of the Prince Kūhiō Day and Good Friday holidays, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on March 26 and March 29.

Refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha landfill will be closed for the holiday on March 26, but will open on March 27.

The adult swim class is offered to those 18 years and older. The preschool program is open to children, ages 2 to 5.

Ho‘ola Lahui Hawai‘i – Kaua‘i Community Health Center will offer free Aqua Zumba classes at the Waimea swimming pool on March 14, 21 and 28.

In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Following the holiday, regular business hours for county offices and services will resume Nov. 25.

Adults who want to learn how to swim and parents who want their preschool-aged keiki to get a head-start on learning about water safety can get the lessons they need in October and November thanks to the county Department of Parks and Recreation.
