University of Hawaiʻi study: Intense tropical cyclones arriving earlier due to climate change

Research from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa revealed that intense tropical cyclones, equivalent to category 4 and 5 hurricanes, are arriving three to four days earlier with each decade of climate change, increasing the risk of compounding extreme weather events.
