Saturday PM Update: Darby More or Less Done

The Central Pacific Hurricane Center reported Saturday evening that the remnants of Darby moved southwest of Hawai’i Island and will have very little impact on Hawaii’s weather though the following notices continue.

The National Weather Service High Surf Advisory for east facing shores of Hawai‘i Island continues to Sunday morning, Civil Defense reported Saturday evening.

The High Surf Warning for all south facing shores remains in effect through Monday.

Beach-goers, swimmers, and surfers, please exercise caution as strong breaking waves, shore break, and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous are expected.
