First responders used a combination of specialized equipment to safely extract her from the trail because of the challenging terrain.

Peter Koorenhof was unresponsive when he was pulled out of the water at Kalihiwai Beach the morning of April 7. An autopsy is pending to detemine his exact cause of death. Foul play is not suspected.
