However, a flood watch does remain in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday (March 14) for Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau.

UPDATE: Phone service restored at Kaua‘i County Department of Water
The department issued a notice just before 2 p.m. Tuesday (March 10) saying phone lines and voicemails were down; it reported at about 4:30 p.m. that service was restored.

All eruptive activity was confined to Halemaʻumaʻu within Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park; Hawaiian Volcano Observatory continues to closely monitor Kīlauea and will issue additional notices as needed based on activity.
