All flood advisories for Kaua‘i, Ni‘ihau canceled

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has canceled all flood-related advisories for Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat.

The flash flood warning that was in effect for portions of northern Kaua‘i was canceled at about 1 p.m. after Kaua‘i Emergency Management reported only a small increase in streamflow at the Hanalei Bridge, which has since decreased. Kūhiō Highway remains open and flash flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat.

The flood watch that was in effect for Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau was also canceled.
