30-year-old Kapa‘a man dies after struggling in waters off Lydgate Beach
Mathew Tusitala was already unresponsive by the time a Kaua‘i Ocean Safety Bureau lifeguard brought him back to shore. An autopsy is pending to determine his exact cause of death.
