National Weather Service radar indicated at just before 9 p.m. that rain — falling at 1 inch per hour with some embedded heavier showers possible — moving ashore from the south and west.

UPDATE: Flood advisory for Kaua‘i canceled

The National Weather Service reported that radar shows the heavy rain has passed. As a result, the Flood Advisory is canceled and there is no longer an expected threat of flooding.
