2 new renewable projects would bring Garden Isle close to 80% renewable energy within 3 years
The projects being pursued by Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative also are expected to generate enough electricity to power more than 30,000 Kauaʻi homes and save electric cooperative members a combined total of nearly $800 million throughout the next quarter of a century.
