This year’s Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response survey collected valuable data from a total of 186 completed interviews about island residents’ basic household demographics, emergency supplies, concerns about climate change impacts, infectious disease awarness and concerns as well as general health and well-being.

The immersive 5-day summer program hosted by Kaua‘i Police Department provides students in grades 9-12 with a hands-on introduction to the world of public safety, blending interactive classroom sessions with practical activities to give participants a comprehensive understanding of police operations.
