Kaua’i residents attending the town hall asked about many issues, including Immigration & Customs Enforcement operations, rising costs for farmers and the possible federalization of elections.

The lawmaker will discuss policies affecting Hawaiʻi, address concerns about the Trump administration and answer questions from community members.

The chocolate milk, marked with an Oct. 16 expiration date, was made and packaged outside the state and is being recalled because of potential quality control issues. It was sent to 11 schools around the Garden Isle.

This is longtime educator Corey Nakamura’s third time being nominated for the Masayuki Tokioka Excellence in School Leadership Award, which was created to uplift Hawai‘i’s outstanding public school leaders and honor them for the efforts they make to provide students with high-quality learning opportunities.
