54-year-old Lincoln Kaehu was taken into custody April 24 for his alleged involvement in an early morning burglary April 15 at Ace Hardware in the south Kaua‘i community.

Kaua‘i County Department of Finance reports the text says the person who receives it must satisfy an “E-Z Pass lane debt” to avoid fines and suspension of their driving privileges. It also directs people to a cloned website, where scammers hope to collect their personal and financial information.
