Intermittent full closure planned next week for portion of Kūhiō Highway
The closure is required to ensure the safety of vehicles traveling below where a helicopter crew will be placing wire mesh on the hillside to anchor loose soil as part of emergency stabalization work at Hanalei Hill that continues 4 years after a devastating landslide in March 2021.
