Kaua‘i Society of Artists Gallery | Kukui Grove Center
📅 Exhibit Dates: November 8–14, 2025
🎉 Opening Reception: November 7, 2025
Celebrate Hawai‘i’s manu (native birds) through the eyes of local artists! The Kaua‘i Forest Bird Recovery Project and Birds Not Mosquitoes have joined forces with the Kaua‘i Endangered Seabird Recovery Project and Trees for Honolulu’s Future to present Wings and Woodlands, a weeklong community art exhibit dedicated to the beauty and importance of Hawai‘i’s forest and seabirds.
Visitors will experience a vibrant mix of paintings, sculptures, photographs, featherwork, and mixed media pieces — all inspired by the native birds that call Hawai‘i home. From the crimson ‘I‘iwi to the elusive Puaiohi, each artwork tells a story of resilience, connection, and hope for our island ecosystems.
This exhibit isn’t just about art — it’s about awareness, conservation, and celebrating the deep bond between our native forests, birds, and people.
