E komo mai to the Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival September 20th through September 26th celebrating contemporary Hawaiian culture. The Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival features hula, music, the Composers Contest and Concert, craft fairs and workshops. The festival opens this Sunday with the 10am service at Kapaʻa First Hawaiian Church. On Monday, don't miss the amazing showcase of talent at the Composers Contest and Concert with composers at the Outrigger Kauaʻi Beach Resort and Spa. Then Tuesday, we will host the Hawaiian Language children preparing for Eō E Lili’u. Wednesday, three hula workshops for you to choose from and Thursday - Saturday shop at the free Mokihana Makeke craft fair. And the festival presents the finale events with the hula kahiko and ‘auana competitions. For info and passes visit EventBrite, or Vicky's Fabrics in Kapa’a.
