National Association of Letter Carriers’
The National Association of Letter Carriers’ (NALC) annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has taken place each year since 1993 on the second Saturday in May. On that day, letter carriers across the nation collect donations of non-perishable food items along their routes to support local food banks. Over the years, Stamp Out Hunger has grown into the largest one-day food drive in the country.
In Hawai’i, 1 in 3 households is food insecure. But here’s how you can help! We invite you to join the letter carriers union and partner organizations to fight hunger in our communities by simply leaving a bag of non-perishable food by your mailbox on Saturday, May 9, or by making an online donation.
All donations remain on the island where they are collected to support local families in need.
Donations will support:
Because of our affiliation with Feeding America, we’re able to stretch your dollars further. A donation of $10 helps provide food for more than 20 meals.
