You and your team are invited to Surfrider Foundation's Net Loading Party on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at their marine debris collection site, located behind the meat market on Lehua Street in Kapaa.

The session's scope of work includes loading tons of derelict fishing gear (net snarls) collected between August and December 2024 for transport to the Hawaii Pacific University ("HPU") on Oahu.

A team of HPU scientists are developing research projects to repurpose this hazardous marine debris, composed primarily of derelict nets and plastics.
