Join us for a presentation followed by a conversation on Biodiesel use in Kauai and around the State.

Ongoing virtual Climate Action Forum series hosted by Kaua’i Climate Action Coalition:  Community Based Biodiesel to Grow Hawaii’s Circular Economy.  Register at:  https://bit.ly/localbiodiesel or email kauaiclimate@gmail.com for more information.

Our Guest Presenter will be Bob King, founder of Pacific Biodiesel, the renewable energy company founded in 1995 on Maui.  Originally created to alleviate the disposal of waste cooking oil at Maui’s landfill, it is the longest operating biodiesel company in the U.S.  Pacific Biodiesel has expanded to Kauai and is employing regenerative agriculture to farm sunflowers and other cover crops to remediate neglected cane fields and support Hawaii’s food security, energy security, along with supply chain resiliency and Hawaii’s circular economy.
