Kauaʻi High School proudly presents Hō‘ike Lā Mei 2026: He Hulu Aliʻi – The Tale of Lāʻieikawai, a cultural celebration that brings to life one of Hawaiʻi’s most cherished stories.

This year’s program highlights the beauty and significance of Hawaiʻi’s native endangered forest birds while weaving the timeless romance of Princess Lāʻieikawai through music, hula, and storytelling. Our haumāna have dedicated themselves to sharing this meaningful narrative—honoring the deep connection between people, culture, and ʻāina.
