Drag racing starts its 2026 season with the High School Challenge.  Garden Isle Racing Association (GIRA) presents ET bracket racing at Kauai Raceway Park. GIRA, a not-for-profit corporation, promotes safe motorsports and responsible street driving. Kauai Raceway Park is a National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) sanctioned track and the Western-most NHRA track in the USA.  GIRA races include classes for street-legal cars, shifters, Jr. dragsters, motorcycles, and professional race cars.
