The Alzheimer's Association, in collaboration with AARP-Hawaii, welcomes Cindy Fowler, PTA/Kauai Regional Coordinator and Christine Castello and Samantha Wong from the Kauai Agency on Elderly Affair's Fall Prevention Program for the monthly Listen and Learn Lecture Series.  This lecture focuses on fall prevention in the elderly, kupuna with dementia in particular,  and will cover practical strategies (including environmental modifications and exercise) to reduce fall risk.  Come out and learn more about the county's Fall Prevention Program and get signed up for a home assessment to address the safety needs in your home.
