Welcome all as we celebrate the Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival with a special service with music in both English and Hawaiian at the historic Kapaʻa First Hawaiian Church founded by Queen Deborah Kapule in 1879. Lunch will be provided after the service.

KAUAʻI MOKIHANA FESTIVAL!

The Mālie Foundation is proud to present the 2025 Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival, September 21-27. Participate in this special weeklong celebration full of Hawaiian culture, lectures, workshops, music, the Composers Contest and Concert and hula competitions. The Festival opens with the Kapaʻa First Hawaiian Church blessing and service. Other events include the Eo e Lili’u preparation event. The Composers Contest and Concert, featuring Kauai's talented composers at the Outrigger Kauaʻi Beach Resort and Spa, hula workshops followed by the finale events - the Hula Kahiko and Auana Hula competitions with 16 different halau performing along with the free craft fairs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall.
