Online registration for Summer Fun Program begins May 15

LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the county’s 2025 Summer Fun Program will open on May 15 at 8 a.m., through the county’s website, https://recreation.kauai.gov/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/SPLASH.html.

The 2025 Summer Fun Program will run from June 16 to July 25, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays. It’s open to children 5 to 11 years old.

Program sites include the Kapa‘a, Līhu‘e, Kalāheo, Hanapēpē, Kekaha neighborhood centers, Anahola Clubhouse, and Kōloa Elementary School. Please note that sites may change dependent on summer hires.

The cost of enrollment is $75 per child and will include morning and afternoon snacks and drinks. Parents and guardians will be responsible for providing participants’ lunch meals.

Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

An account is needed to register for the Summer Fun Program online. Officials recommend those without existing accounts create one before the registration opening. Anyone needing assistance accessing their account online may contact the neighborhood center in their community. For a list of numbers and emails for neighborhood centers, please visit https://www.kauai.gov/Government/Departments-Agencies/Parks-Recreation/Neighborhood-Centers.

For more information about the Summer Fun program, please contact Bronson Carvalho at 808-241-4465.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact Bronson Carvalho at 808-241-4465 and Bbcarvalho@kauai.gov as soon as possible. Requests made as early as possible will allow adequate time to fulfill your request. Upon request, this notice is available in alternate formats such as large print, Braille, or electronic copy.
