The Kauaʻi Japanese Cultural Society invites you to the Kauaʻi Matsuri Festival!  Saturday, October 12th, at the Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall, 9:15am til 3:00pm. Come celebrate Japanese culture and arts!  Matsuri Kauaʻi offers a host of activities. The beat of drums will surely make you heart race. Dancers in kimono dance to traditional Japanese music using fans, towels or umbrellas. Listen to shamisen playing by Anju Madoka along with the beautiful singing by Sheree Tamura, and Aolani Silva returns to thrill you with their enka singing. Cosplay returns, kendama contest, also musubi making contest. A fashion show, food, bonsai. Kimono kitsuke by appointment only call 808-651-2298. Try your hand at make and take. Admission is free!
