Washed Up is an annual art Exhibit hosted by the Kauai Society of Artists and it’s Co-Sponsor, Surfrider Foundation Kauai Chapter. On display at this exhibit are unique artworks created out of marine debris that was cleaned up off of Kauai shorelines. Artist use the medium of marine debris to create amazing art in order bring awareness to the the issue and inspire attendees to take action. The exhibit also showcases steps that the average consumer can take to prevent plastic pollution. The show is really interesting and unusual and runs from June 7-28th. The opening reception will held on June 8th  in conjunction with World Oceans Day.
