Mark your calendars for the 36th annual Emalani Festival on Saturday, November second in Kokeʻe, 9:00am to 3:00pm. Enjoy the beauty of Kokeʻe lei making, exhibits, and food surrounding the Emalani Festival performance area. Central to the Festival is the arrival of Queen Emma, her attendant, and guide Kaluahi on horseback at 10:00am. Protocol ceremonies will pay homage to the Queen and perform for her throughout the day. Sponsors and Guests are invited to witness a historical event, Hawaiian protocol and genuine Hawaiian cuisine and music. The event is FREE with VIP packages available to the Emalani site to encourage participants to be shuttled to the event from the Kekaha Neighborhood Center (to lessen traffic, parking and carbon foot print in Kokeʻe) with options for VIP covered seating, festival tshirts and for shuttle, meal, and t-shirt options. The 36th annual Emalani Festival takes place Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Kokee, Kauai from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Tents with lei making, exhibits, and food surround the performance and seating area for the audience. Hawaiian music begins at 9:00am. Central to the Festival is the arrival of Queen Emma, her attendant, and guide Kaluahi on horseback at 10:00am. Protocol ceremonies will pay homage to the Queen and perform for her throughout the night. The queen, in turn, may offer a dance of her own. Sponsors and Guests are invited to witness a historical event, authentic Hawaiian protocol and genuine Hawaiian cuisine.
Event will remain free to attend, but VIP packages will be available 1 Sep 24 on the EO e Emalani site. VIP Tickets are to encourage participants to be shuttled to the event to lessen traffic, parking and carbon foot print for Kokee.
