This is the largest children’s book sale fundraiser of the year, benefiting Kauai teachers in the classroom through Kumu’s Cupboard. Join us for kids characters, reading giveaways and activities. Don’t miss special guests celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday starting at 11:00am with community guest readers and musical interludes, plus Showtime Characters fun, and special performances by Kapaa M.S. Choir and Ukulele Band at 1:00pm followed by Aldrine Guerrero and AG Ukulele Academy Ukulele Meet up at 3:00pm. KAFCE imagination activities and readers throughout the day with a surprise appearance by the Cat in the Hat reminds us how reading shapes us all.
