Attention runners! Join Iwikua for Na Heihei A Ola, the 49th annual Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run on Saturday, February 21st. Check-ins start at 5:30am, and the races start at 7am. There’s three distances - 2k, 5k, and 10k, so there’s something safe and fun for all ages and experience levels. Get all the information and sign up today at iwikua.org. Funds raised from Na Heihei A Ola support the non-profit, Iwikua, and their community fitness programs including track club and sports camps.
ROAD CLOSURE: Saturday Feb 21st, Waimea Bridge will be closed in both directions from 7am to 7:15am for the starting of the Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run. The makai lane is closed and traffic is shifted to the mauka and parking lanes through Waimea town for the duration of the run. Please expect a slow down in both directions, though the road is open. Please note there is also NO overnight parking in Waimea town on Kaumualii Hwy for Friday night the 21st to allow the lane shift Saturday morning. Mahalo for helping keep our runners safe!
