All the Lions Clubs on Kauai are participating in the Hawaii District's Used Eyeglass collection on Saturday, January 18.
The members will be spread out across the island at the following locations: Kong Lung Center Kilauea, Big Save Kapaa, Walmart, Longs Kukui Grove, Big Save Eleele.
10 AM to 2 PM, each location will have Lions (in their yellow vests) to greet you and accept your donations.
The donations will go to third world countries, where the network of Doctors and technicians are all in place. This is an ongoing Lions worldwide project.
There are collection boxes in places of business all the time all over the island. This in person collection happens only once a year, usually in January with coordination with the entire Hawaii District 50 of Lions Clubs.
