The Kauaʻi ʻUkulele Festival, a celebration of all things ʻukulele, takes place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Kukui Grove Center, Līhue, Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi from 11 am – 4 pm. Discover the cultural significance the ʻukulele plays as Hawaiʻi’s ambassador of Aloha. ʻUkulele enthusiasts can look forward to this free event with live stage entertainment on the stage including well-known artists plus emerging artists. This is an opportunity to meet and engage Kauaʻi’s local ʻukulele community. Enjoy community information booths, ʻukulele merchants and ʻukulele inspired merchandise. Plus there will be a Hawaiian cultural activities zone and free ʻukulele lesson zone.

Special Events Hawaiʻi presents the Kauaʻi ʻUkulele Festival in partnership with Kala Foundation, a 501(c)3 Nonprofit dedicated to Hawaiian culture, language, hula, music, and spiritual preservation. The leadership of Kala Foundation have been the Co-Chair of the King Kamehameha Celebrations including events such as the Oʻahu Parade and Hoʻolauleʻa’s, plus managed the Mele on the Move and much more. For over 32 years Special Events Hawaiʻi has been one of the largest promoters and producers of large-scale community events in the state.
