Tenant applications now accepted for Uahi Ridge Phase I affordable housing
Kaua‘i County Housing Agency announces tenant applications are now being accepted for Uahi Ridge Phase I, a new affordable rental housing community in Līhu‘e.
The two-phase affordable housing community is being developed through a partnership between Mark Development, Ikenakea Development and Waʻa Partners. Phase I provides 96 apartments with 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom options available for households earning up to 60% of the area median income.

Applicants can apply online through the Uahi Ridge Phase I online application portal.
Applications will be accepted through Aug. 25 for inclusion in an initial lottery, which is planned for Aug. 31, which will determine the order they are processed. Submitting an application or being selected in the lottery does not guarantee housing.
Those received after the deadline will not be included in the initial lottery. They will be processed in accordance with the Tenant Selection Plan.
Uahi Ridge Phase I is anticipated to be ready for occupancy in October. The community will include family-oriented amenities such as community space, a playground, picnic and barbecue areas plus more.
The development is located at 4534 Uahi Road in Līhuʻe, near Kukui Grove Center, Wilcox Medical Center, Kauaʻi Medical Clinic, Walmart, government offices, public transportation, shopping, services and major employment centers.
