Road striping ongoing this week in Kapa‘a

Lane shifts along portions of Kawaihau Road in Kapa‘a are ongoing for road striping through Aug. 14.

The work is scheduled, weather permitting, this week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane and road closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations, according to a news release from Kaua‘i County. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.

Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
