Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works announces full road closures during the upcoming week along portions of Ala Wai Road in Waimea, weather permitting.
Closures are scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5-7 and are necessary for public safety while Public Works Roads Division crews complete culvert and road repairs within the county right-of-way.
Motorists should make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary traffic modifications, use alternate routes if and when possible and allow extra time to get to destinations.
No parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will direct traffic.
