Community members are invited to the 11th annual Keiki Bike Safety Day at Wilcox Medical Center in Līhuʻe.

The popular event is scheduled for 8 to 11 a.m. July 18 in the back parking lot of the hospital, located at 3-3420 Kūhiō Highway, and past same-day surgery.
Hundreds of certified helmets will be fitted and given away, while supplies last, to children for free. Keiki also will have the opportunity to win a free bike with several drawings during the morning.
Wilcox Medical Center physicians and staff will be available to talk with families about preventing concussions and other bike-related injuries.
Keiki Bike Safety Day is free and open to everyone.
Additional educational and hands-on activities throughout the morning will include:
- Certified helmet fitting and decoration stations.
- Bike skill enhancement courses.
- Bike safety inspection station.
- Concussion prevention education.
There also will be information and education provided about skateboard safety.
Register online in advance. Registration is also available the day of the event at the hospital.
