Kaua‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation notifies the public that a portion of the Kalena Park in Līhu‘e will be closed temporarily.
The July 14-15 closure is necessary for scheduled maintenance, including installation of irrigation for new trees located along the Rice Street rock wall. It will only affect the basketball and pickleball courts.
All other areas of the park will be open.
Parks and Rec thanks the public for its patience and understanding during this closure.
