DOH Identifies 64 New COVID Cases in Hawai‘i
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 64 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday. The statewide total is now 32,794. One new COVID-related death was also reported.
Six new cases of the virus were identified on Kaua‘i Wednesday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 93 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 25,126
Maui: 3,451
Hawai‘i: 2,711
Kaua‘i: 283
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 37
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,075
A total of 2,163 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 485 have died.
To date, a total of 1,263,836 doses of vaccine have been administered.
