Kauaʻi authorities continue seeking the public’s help in their ongoing investigation of the 2010 murder of Amber Jackson.
Jackson was 57 and living in Kapaʻa when she was reported missing on June 23, 2010. Police later discovered her body on July 3, 2010, in a secluded wooded area of Keālia.
An autopsy determined that she died from blunt-force trauma to the head, and the case was ruled a homicide. Police said investigators have continued to pursue leads over the years.
As a result of ongoing efforts, detectives secured an arrest warrant in December 2025 for Gregory Glaser on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with Jackson’s death.

On Tuesday, the family shared a plea on the “We Can’t Forget Amber Jacksonʻ Facebook page,” asking the community for help with this case.

As this painful milestone arrives, Amber’s family, friends, and law enforcement are issuing an urgent appeal to the community: we need your information to finally bring closure to this 16-year investigation.”
Officials said detectives still are working to locate Glaser, and will follow up on any additional information that could assist the case.
