Kaua‘i’s largest mall to host annual Back to School Bash

More than 2,000 free school supplies will be provided to Kaua‘i’s keiki during Kukui Center’s 12th annual Back to School Bash is coming up on July 11 in Līhu‘e.

Along with the supplies, the event, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., is a chance for families to gather, connect with educational resources, and enjoy live entertainment and a “Passport to Fun” activity for the children.

Pre-registration to receive a school supply bag begins July 1, according to a news release from the Kukui Grove Center, the Garden Isle’s largest mall.

Families are encouraged to pre-register, as it guarantees their child a school supply bag. Families who don’t register can still get unclaimed bags starting at 1 p.m. However, supply is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
