Road closure scheduled June 22 for Olohena Road in Kapa‘a

Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and contractor Earthworks Pacific notify the public that a portion of Olohena Road in Kapa‘a will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 22, weather permitting.

The road closure is necessary for the pouring of a concrete retaining wall.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes. Detour routes are as follows:

• Eastbound traffic routed onto Wai-pouli Road from Kamālū Road via Olohena Road.
• Westbound traffic routed onto Wai-pouli Road via Hauʻiki Road, and onto Kamālū Road via Olohena Road.
