Guardian Self Storage on Kaua‘i launched a new community initiative to support Garden Isle youth programs through Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawai‘i – Kaua‘i.

The self-storage firm is matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000, with all funds collected — along with the company’s matching contribution — going directly to the Jennie T. Yukimura Kaua‘i Endowment Fund at Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawai‘i – Kaua‘i.

The goal is to ensure long-term support for youth programs in the community.

“By contributing to the endowment, we’re helping create lasting impact for future generations of Kaua‘i’s youth,” said Guardian Self Storage Managing Member Thomas Lambert in an announcement of the new fundraising campaign.

Community members can participate by donating directly at Guardian Self Storage.

Even small contributions are matched and make a meaningful difference.

The Jennie T. Yukimura Kaua‘i Endowment Fund was established in 2022 in loving memory of JoAnn Yukimura’s mother Jennie, who dedicated her life to supporting Kaua‘i’s youth.

It is also a tribute to JoAnn Yukimura’s tireless advocacy for ensuring all young people have access to the programs and services offered at Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i.

The endowment is restricted to support Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i operations on Kaua‘i, and is an agency endowment fund owned and managed by Hawai‘i Community Foundation on behalf of Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i.

The campaign runs through July 31, or until the $10,000 matching limit is reached.
