Kauaʻi Pride Parade and Festival this year celebrates the eighth year of creating a truly communitywide event, during which everyone can feel safe to be their real selves.

This year’s fabulous event features Hālau Ka Pā Hula O Hinano and 2026 Grand Marshal Cyenna Summers.

Summers is one of the Fab 5 making up up Brunch Babes, who once a month put on an unparalleled drag performance — each with a different theme — at Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort in Kapa‘a while those who attend enjoy a 5-course meal and champagne toast.

The Babes, The Napali Coasters and Mallibu Del Rey also will be part of the festivities, as well as performances including aerial silks and more. Local food trucks will offer ‘ono options when you get hungry, plus you’ll be able to shop with participating small business vendors.

The festival in 2025 featured 52 vendors and community resources, plus local entertainers and 6 food vendors.

Event organizers also are super excited about the this year’s Kaua‘i Pride Parade art created by Kauaʻi born and raised graphic and animation artist Dillon Valenzuela (@dillon_pv). You can find the artwork on this year’s Pride merchandise.

There will be T-shirts — in summer yellow or summer blue — along with totes, stickers and pink or mint-colored hats.

This year’s parade art highlights the tranquil honu, or turtle, and confident moa, or chicken, which are frequent sights on the streets and beaches around the Garden Isle.

“This year’s art is inspired by the colorful Lisa Frank art style with a twist,” said Valenzuela. “I combined the retro rainbow aesthetic with traditional Hawaiian floral and fauna. Kauaʻi Pride has always brought friends, families and allies together, and I wanted to create a design that encompasses all the color that the Garden Isle provides.”

Visit the Kaua‘i Pride Parade website and follow the event back on Facebook and Instagram for additional information and to stay up to date on all Pride-related events, activities and more.
