The free keiki basketball clinics are hosted by University of Hawai‘i at Hilo men’s basketball coaches.
This is the second annual coaches tour hosted by the Hilo coaches. Clinics are for keiki in grades 4-8 and include head men’s basketball coach Kaniela Aiona and assistant coaches Steve Kinder and Anthony Haskett.
“We’re thrilled to be out again to connect with the keiki basketball players across the state,” said sixth-year Vulcans head coach Aiona in a release about this year’s clinics. “Basketball has always been a cornerstone of our community here and we want to honor that legacy by giving back and helping to inspire the next generation with the mindset and work ethic they’ll need both on and off the court.”
Limited signups are available for each clinic, so be sure to contact the respective person listed above for each of the remaining clinics to get more information.
