Niumalu Beach Park in Līhu‘e is expected to reopen at 9 a.m. as Kaua‘i County crews work to repair a plumbing issue.
Kaua‘i County reported the initial closure of the beach park at 6:45 a.m. At around 8:15 a.m., the county announced the park would reopen later this morning.
