Construction work will temporarily close the commonly used Same-Day Surgery entrance and corridor at Wilcox Medical Center.
Beginning Monday, March 30, there will be temporary changes to the Same-Day Surgery check-in process and entrance, but all other entrances at the medical center will remain open during construction.
Check-in will temporarily move to Conference Room A, located off Wilcox’s main lobby. Patients, visitors, and staff can access the main lobby and Same-Day Surgery check-in through the following entrances:
- Wilcox Infusion Center, facing Walmart
- Spine at the front of the medical center, next to the gift shop
- Breezeway connecting Wilcox to Kauaʻi Medical Clinic
The closest drop-off and pickup location for Same-Day Surgery check-in is the Infusion Center entrance. The Spine entrance, near the gift shop, is also available.
The Wilcox Café will remain open during construction, with regular hours from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Self-checkout kiosks continue to be available 24 hours a day for grab-and-go items.
