Water rates community meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening in Kapa‘a

A public meeting to discuss capital infrastructure needs and associated proposed water rate increases with the Kaua‘i Department of Water is still on schedule for Wednesday evening.

The meeting will be held at Kalukalu at 1624 (old Otsukaʻs building), located at 4-1624 Kūhiō Highway in Kapaʻa, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The meeting will highlight findings from the department’s recently completed comprehensive water systems evaluation and water rate study.
