Mark your calendar: Goodwill Industries of Hawai‘i to host reuse collection event in Līhu‘e
The next Goodwill Industries of Hawai‘i reuse collection event is planned at Kaua‘i Resource Center in Līhu‘e.
Residents, businesses and other organizations can bring unwanted or unneeded items for reuse from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 13.

Unwanted or unneeded items can include:
- Clothing.
- Small furniture.
- Kitchen items.
- Children’s toys.
- Books.
- Shoes.
Clothing and textiles do not need to be in good condition; torn or stained clothing is OK.
Do not bring:
- eWaste.
- Chemicals.
- Medical equipment.
- Appliances.
- Food items.
- Baby items (other than clothing).
- Broken items.
Kaua‘i County Solid Waste Division encourages the public to check with local thrift stores to see if they can accept donations before bringing items to Kaua‘i Resource Center.
Goodwill requests the public remain in their vehicles while on-site because of health and safety concerns, heavy equipment in the area and to reduce the chance of injury to those unloading heavy items.
