Both — in honor of their accomplishments — receive an additional week of vacation, paid airfare for two, complimentary rooms at a Hyatt property of their choice and spending money to fully rest, recharge and celebrate their achievements and exceptional impact they continue to make at Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i.

Galicinao has 35 years of dedicated service at Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i, becoming a cornerstone of the resort team.

She has built a remarkable career as a front office agent, defined by integrity, compassion and genuine connection with guests and colleagues, exemplifying the true spirit of aloha in everything she does.

Galicinao has received multiple Nā Pua Hanohano Paʻa Awards — which recognize Employees of the Month at Grand Hyatt Kauaʻi — through the years and also is a previous Employee of the Year.

Her abundant compassion, empathy and care is inspired beyond her professional achievements in part by her dedication to supporting her brother, who has Down syndrome.

Rolland oversees Ilima Terrace, in-room dining and Poʻipū Bay beverage cart operations. She has quickly distinguished herself since joining Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i a year ago as a hands-on, team-focused leader with an unwavering commitment to excellence.

She brings extensive experience in hospitality and food and beverage leadership, with a background spanning casino, fine dining and high-volume restaurant environments.

She was also part of opening leadership teams for two acclaimed restaurant concepts, one recognized as Best Seafood Restaurant of the South Sound and another named Best Steakhouse in the Pacific Northwest by The Seattle Times.

“Receiving this recognition as Manager of the Year means so much to me,” said Rolland in the announcement. “This represents the collective effort and dedication of the team I work with every day, and I am truly grateful to be part of such a special place.”
