Residential trash collection in portions of Anahola and Moloaʻa has been delayed because of staffing shortages, county Solid Waste officials said Monday afternoon.

At approximately 3:15 p.m., officials announced that the remaining routes in both communities could not be completed on Monday and would instead be serviced on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Residents whose trash has not been collected by 4 p.m. are asked to leave their bins at the curb for pickup tomorrow.
