The affected area includes Kūhiō Highway, from Kali Road to Ahukini Road.

Alternating one-lane closures will be in effect through the affected area of Kūhiō Highway during workdays and times. Residents, pedestrians and motorists are advised to follow directions of flaggers and obey posted signs.

Night work and lane closures are necessary to continue the replacement of water main lines as part of the Kūhiō Highway (Hardy-Oxford) Waterline Project.

This project involves replacing aging water main infrastructure to meet current water system standards, including fire flow requirements.

Noise, vibration, dust and other occurrences typical of a construction site are expected during the project, as well as occasional water service shutdowns.
