The Outrigger Kauaʻi Beach Resort & Spa in Līhuʻe is spotlighting local culture, cuisine and environmental stewardship with a lineup of recurring and special events designed to connect guests and residents with the island’s creative and coastal communities.

Kauaʻi Made Craft Fair (Fridays)

Discover local artisans and island-made treasures at a weekly craft fair on Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m. The fair features jewelry, home goods and delicious local treats. Take home a meaningful memento of your time while supporting Kauaʻi’s creative community.

Participating artisans vary weekly and have included Aloha Paws, Jocks Photography, Kiyomi’s Sweet Treats, Kauaʻi Ocean Creations and Piazza Art. Enjoy the E Komo Mai welcome performance from 4:30 to 5 p.m..


Marine Debris Art Workshop (Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 31 and April 28)

Transform discarded ocean waste into meaningful art with local eco-artist Allegra Scribner. Guided step by step, you’ll use marine debris and microplastics collected from the shoreline to create a unique piece that celebrates Kauaʻi’s natural beauty and resilience.

All supplies and tools are provided. For those who prefer not to gather their own materials, pre-collected debris is available. This mindful, hands-on experience deepens your connection to the island’s coastlines while you create a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Sessions run from 11 a.m. to noon. Advance reservations are recommended. Sign up at the front desk for location details.

Sunrise Beach Clean-Up At Nukoliʻi Beach (Feb. 21, March 21 and April 21)

Begin your morning in service to the sea. Join our resort team and island neighbors to care for Nukoli’i Beach through a hands-on cleanup, while learning about the coastal ecosystems that make this shoreline so special.

Afterward, stay for complimentary coffee and the peaceful reward of sunrise over the water. Meet at the ocean lawn by the beach cleanup station at 7:30 a.m.

Pau-Hana Beach Clean-Up At Nukoliʻi Beach (Feb. 27, March 27 and April 27)

End your week with purpose and connection. Join guests and locals as we care for Nukoliʻi Beach in the golden afternoon light. We’ll collect marine debris, help protect the coastline, and close with sunset conversations over complimentary light refreshments.

It’s a simple way to give back and feel the true spirit of aloha as you head into the weekend. Please meet at the Naupaka ocean lawn, near the beach cleanup station, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day Specials At Naupaka Terrace (March 17)

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with special menu offerings at the Naupaka Terrace. Gather with friends and family to savor the flavors of Kauaʻi while enjoying a sunset backdrop and live music. Dinner will be served from 5 to 9 p.m.
